Step back into the golden age of radio and television with the Prime Time Library – 1950s Announcer Voice Pack. This massive collection features 1,200+ professionally recorded voice clips, including authentic 1950s-style announcer SFX, unprocessed takes for flexible mixing, and a selection of classic Foley sounds like film reels, static, and projector hums to help recreate the full atmosphere of mid-century broadcasts.

All voice lines in this library are original performances by a single professional voice actor (Andrew Helbig), recorded in a classic 1950s announcer style. This is not a compilation of historic radio recordings or multiple announcers.

Designed to capture the excitement of the era, this library is perfect for anyone who wants to add genuine vintage flair and texture to their work.

✅ 1,200+ total clips

• SFX versions ready for instant use

• Unprocessed takes for flexibility in mixing

• Foley extras to enhance realism and immersion

✅ Ideal for:

• Music projects & live performances (DJ drops, stage intros, concert interludes)

• Vintage-style commercials and ads

• Themed events, parties, and shows

• Retro themed video games, videos, and creative content

From musical introductions to live show outros, from audience reactions to ambient textures, the Prime Time Library delivers that bold, theatrical 1950s announcer energy — now with immersive Foley sound design to elevate your production.

Both high-quality WAV and MP3 downloads are included.

WAV files are ideal for professional editors, while MP3s are perfect for quick use and saving space on your hard drive.

Really cool pack if you like that old 1950s announcer style voice. There are a lot of fun lines in here, like the show intros and some sci-fi type stuff that could be good for some music I want to make.

Files are clean and easy to go through. Very useful if you’re doing something with a vintage or 1950s theme.

Thanks for checking it out! Glad you enjoyed the retro style and the mix of lines in the pack. I had a lot of fun putting together the show intros and the sci-fi bits in particular. Hope it comes in handy for your projects!

No what I was looking for

In my haste I assumed that there were going to be more than one persons sound bites here. But sadly not. This pack is one guy recorded on the same Mic over and over.

Thanks for the feedback, and I appreciate you giving the pack a try.

Just to clarify for future readers, this library contains original voice performances by a single professional voice actor (me) recorded with a consistent mic setup so the lines remain cohesive across projects.

It sounds like you were expecting multiple different voices, which I understand. I’ve since updated the product description to make that clearer for future buyers.

Really high-quality pack. The 1950s announcer tone is spot-on — sounds like something you’d hear in a classic newsreel or film intro. I’ve already used a few clips in my edits, and they fit right in without any extra mixing.

Thanks so much for the kind words — I’m really glad to hear the pack is working well in your edits!

That classic newsreel feel was exactly what I was aiming for, so it’s great to know it’s fitting naturally into your projects. Appreciate you taking the time to leave a review, and I hope the library continues to be useful in your work.
